Our Facilities

The Department of Music at Maynooth University offers facilities that support both creative practice and academic study. Our resources include:

Audient Studio: Maynooth’s longest-established studio, featuring a traditional recording setup with a large control room built around an Audient ASP 8024 analogue mixing console.
5.1 Studio: Equipped with five Genelec 8040 speakers in standard surround format and a Genelec 7380 AP subwoofer. Also suitable for stereo work.
ISO Booth Suite: Includes four isolation booths for focused recording sessions.
Annex Live Room: A large space for bands, ensembles, and workshops, which can be connected to the Annex Studio Control Room for live recording.
iMac Lab: A computer lab with seven iMacs preloaded with all the music software students need for their studies.
